The Elegy Archive is an archive of the lost internet archives. It appears as an online virtual space. The Elegy Archive collects information and stories from online archives that once existed but have disappeared. It collects the ruins of the Internet and becomes ruins itself. It deals with the practice of archeology through the excavation and extraction of forgotten data, and is a discussion and response to Nils Jean's digital archeology and the materiality of digital waste.
